Director Mari Selvaraj's Karnan starring Dhanush is having a dream run at the box office despite the novel coronavirus pandemic. After Karnan's success, Dhanush, on April 23, took to Twitter to announce that he will be teaming up with Mari once again for an untitled film. He added that the pre-production work of this film is currently underway. Dhanush's second film with Mari will commence in 2022.
KARNAN COMBO IS BACK
Dhanush was so impressed with director Mari Selvaraj's work in Karnan. He has decided to do another film with him after Karnan's massive success at the box office. The film's shooting will commence in 2022. Soon, details about the untitled film will be finalised.
Happy with the success of Karnan, Dhanush shared this news with his fans on Twitter. He wrote that the pre-production of their second venture is currently underway.

It is to be noted that Dhanush was completely bowled over by Mari Selvaraj's debut film, Pariyerum Perumal. After watching his debut film, Dhanush decided to work with him and announced the same on Twitter. The duo joined hands for Karnan, which was produced by Kalaipuli S Thanu of V Creations.

Karnan is a hard-hitting action drama that speaks about caste discrimination and police brutality. The film hit the theatres on April 9 and is still having a dream run in selected areas in Tamil Nadu.
